Support Staff/Group Facilitator

Joshua Krager CADC-II

Growing up as an only child and in group homes for most of my childhood, I spent a lot of time reading, writing, and at libraries where I felt safe and at peace. Originally attending school for Photography and Creative Writing, switched to Computer Science graduating with that degree in 2006. I began working in the behavioral health field in 2008 and returned to school in 2014 after discovering my passion for helping others, specifically, those afflicted with mental illness and addiction. I am also known as Dad to 4 beautiful and perfectly created children – Saige, Kira, Aedan and Phoenix. At Mayberry, I am just a worker amongst workers. In my spare time I enjoy writing, reading, spending quality time with my babies and finding rest in the four natural sanctuaries.

In the words of Paul Ferrini from The 12 Steps of Forgiveness – “So, here I am. And the only way I get my life jump-started is by accepting my life exactly as it is, by accepting myself and you exactly as we are. That is the place where my heart opens. That is the place where love begins.”
